I'm assuming the statistics - http://www.phpclasses.org/professional_statistics.html - includes crawls by search engines? Please can these be excluded from the statistics since they give a false impression of the genuine interest in our profile?

Thanks for your consideration,
James

p.s. It only took 3 days from creating a professional profile to receiving our first spam from it ;-)
However on the positive side, we also *have* received a little work from this site :-) (Gracias Manuel!)

The accesses by search engines or crawlers that explicitly identify as such are always excluded from statistics, as well your own (logged in) accesses as well site administrator accesses.

As for getting spam, it seems that unfortunately there is some people investing on paying to override CAPTCHA validation.

Soon I will be adding an option to let users not disclose their contact e-mails. Instead there will be an option to make the site send users a message with a contact request. Then users decided they want to reply by e-mail. Please be patient while that is not available. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Manuel,
No problem about the spam - I wasn't really complaining ;-) It's just astounding that people think they can make a living by sending spam!!

Thanks,
James.

Apparently there is a spammers business model around breaking CAPTCHA using real people. I intend to publish a blog post on this after I have the options to not disclose users e-mail addresses directly.
